Sodden garden.

I live in Woodend Park,Cardenden next to the fields and kids playpark and in the 4 years i have lived here our garden has quickly turned into a horrible sodden mess.

There is a burn at the bottom of garden and what with the rain that we have had of late -there is no where for the water to go as the burn needs cleaned out,despite visiting the council and telephoning the coal board Nothing has been done,Why???? Surely this is a serious problem that needs addressed.

David Taylor says

Fife Concil has plans to pump this water over to the Westfield site.

Lindsay Roy MP is involved with a similar problem at Jamphlars Pond,.as this burn flows into it.

Lindsay has agreed to work with the Community Council to urge Fife Council to make a start to the work.

Thanks for replying to my question David Taylor,any idea when this will be happening???.Our garden really can't take anymore rain -surely this is a concern regarding rats etc...,not to mention what this can be doing to our house.Who would be the more informed person to keep in touch with to help us with this????
