What has happened to the prospects of Cardendens regeneration as an Eco Town? These exciting proposals seem to have been quietly swept under the carpet. Some much-needed funding to improve the village

6/1/2010Thanks to Mary and Margaret for Cardenden's Chas donation
By Margaret Jones
Mary Sommerville and Margaret Jones have donated, through the kindness of people in Cardenden the sum of £350 to Chas in Kinross.
Special thanks to Betty Penman for all the help she has given in donating gifts.
Mary and Margaret were thanked by Alison Rennie of Chas if they would be interested in a visit to the centre in April when visiting restarted. Both ladies said they would be most interested in seeing the facilities for themselves.
They were also told of the availability of a member of staff, who would come out to groups to give a talk on the work involved in the running of Chas. Mary and Margaret replied that they would advise various groups within the village that this information was available.
