Cardenden travellers site plans rejected, reports say

Plans for a travellers site at Pitcairn near Cardenden have been rejected by Fife Council, it has been reported.

Dave Roy commented on s1cardenden: "The stop over site at Pitcairn - Cardenden for travelling people has been rejected. Main reasons for rejection were due to the site being unsuitable," - you can see Dave's comment, along with others on the story here.

Although this is good news, Fife Council are considering two other sites in this area.

I'm told by Councillor Mark Hood that he has been advised by the Council that no formal decision has been made on the Pitcairn site yet and it is still under consideration - along with three other sites in the area.
