Abandoned building Issue in Community

Cardenden councillor Mark Hood has called on the council to demolish a dilapidated building which local people say is a blight on thier community.

Councillor Hood said: “As well as being an eyesore, this building has been a target of vandalism and is infested with vermin. The building poses a real risk to the community and I think it’s time something is done about it.

“Local people are right to complain that this building is a blight on our community. The council should not allow buildings to be left to rot in the centre of our communities.
