November 8th 2009 Club President Stewart Law & Secretaty Alex Page joined the annual Rememberance Day procession to lay a wreath at Bowhill War Memorial on behalf of Bowhill Bowling Club members.

October 31st - Halloween......

itches, Ghouls and Ghostly Apparitions appeared out of the mist and descended on an eerie, dimly lit clubhouse.

The guests performed ritualistic, alcohol induced dances to Chubby Decker's Disco. The sacrificial buffet was greedily devoured and a mystical Devil's Blood punch was readily consumed.

Suddenly at the stroke of midnight the grisly, gruesome bunch disappeared in a puff of smoke, into the dark, dank night.

Thank goodness the remaining club members survived this terrifying visitation, and can't wait for more of the same next year......................

November 21st - Super Race Night .......... Bowhill Bowling Club is going to the races. An action packed night with sponsored horse racing, and an opportunity to put your knowledge and judgement to the test. Fancy a flutter - come along and enjoy all the fun of the racecourse (in sunny Bowhill). Finish the night off with drinks and dancing to a great disco ........... non stop entertainment.

November 14th - Virgin V .......... We're having a girlie night with a comprehensive array of Virgin V cosmetics on sale. Come along you ladies and treat yourselves to some quality slap, have a couple of pints too while making your mind up. Boys welcome too, if that's your thing .........

Well folks its that tme of the year again, your Annual General Meeting will take place within the Clubhouse on Thursday 10th December at 7.00 pm prompt. All members welcome , come along and have your say its your Club, this is when all your suggestions and ideas can be taken on board. A large turnout would be appreciated. We the Committee will see you all then, thanks.

Hiya folks the Green will be opening on Saturday 10th of April we are still on the lookout for new members playing or Social so come on get yourselves down here the more the merrier. We have ordered massive amounts of SUN for the duration of the season . You bring the Sun Cream we have plenty of the liquid refreshment at reasonable prices .Look forward to seeing you all .

Hiya folks well that's us open as of Saturday 31st - loyal members joined us for the traditional President versus Vice President game in beautiful weather President Steven Will welcomed the said members and his daughter Jodie threw the first jack and bowl of the 2010 Season.

After a closely contested game the Presidents team ran out the winners by 47 shots to 44 shots.

A brilliant day was had by all spectators included,next week is an away game versus Broad Street so you members get your name up to play.

Remember people we have ordered this weather for the season so come on along to the Green get the Sun have a wee drink and help us keep the Club on the up you will be made more than welcome.

Bowhill Meadows June Race Meeting - Saturday 5th June

A fun filled night attended by members, family and friends ready to try their luck at our unique indoor track.

A selection of multi million pound bloodstock arrived to do battle.  

The finest hand picked jockeys gave it their all over the six races on the card.

A first class cabaret was provided by Kyle Ross to round the night off.

A big thank you to all who attended making the evening a complete sucess.

PSUnfortunately we now have an excess of horse manure for sale - please see in club for details.

Hiya folks just me again to remind you of our Fun Day on Saturday 24th July all the usual events happening starts at Midday till 4pm, be sharp to get some of Helens delicious home baked cakes,yummy, and win something of the Tombola Stall plenty other attractions for the kids and you bigger bairns. See you then not sure who I'm coming as, so come along and support us. Many Thanks. With you all there all we need is the SUN.
